Beach Reviews:
May 27, 2014 // Santa Fe Beach Club (Philippines) One of the General Testimonies | The even called View of Paradise In the Philippines is in the Municipality of Santa Fe
One of the Beach Resort is the Santa Fe Beach Club! It has "Basic, Cheap Accommodation” We were there for the Labor Day weekend so the resort was full and we were only able to get fan cottages. We paid P1500/cottage/day; the cottage has five single beds. There were 8 of us so we decided to divide ourselves into two groups of four. We were surprised to be picked up from the port area, I thought. I hear from Litrato101 as of a week ago from writing of this:
Accordingly: We were there for the Labor Day weekend so the resort was full and we were only able to get fan cottages. We paid P1500/cottage/day; the cottage has five single beds. There were 8 of us so we decided to divide ourselves into two groups of four. We were surprised to be picked up from the port area, I thought we were going to walk along the beach :-). The ride was good because we arrived after lunch and it was very hot.
Arriving after lunch in a non-AC cottage during summer is bad. The cottage was so warm and it took us a while to acclimatize but after that bit of discomfort we were ok. We had good sleep during the night and although there was no hot shower the water is not that cold although it is brackish. We were provided towels and there was sufficient laundry line in our balcony to accommodate all our wet clothes.
The staff at the hotel were very accommodating. My friends and I would drive them nuts with our special requests on our fruit shakes but they were patient with us. They seem to move on island time which some may find slow but we are on vacation so we had all the time to wait. We enjoyed sitting by the large umbrellas near the shore while waiting for our orders.
We were also able to visit their sister resort (Ogtong Cave Resort) for free. We paid for the transportation though at P50/person. We actually enjoyed our stay there. It is good place. Laag 02: Budget Friendly Bantayan Island One of the dream destinations since I started taking travel seriously is Sta. Fe Bantayan. The main problem way back then until now is the budget. Being the birthday celebrant – the pressure is on me. Not to mention that I want to celebrate my 25th birthday as memorable as possible. So, I’m sharing you my tips on how I was able to manage the P5, 000 budget for the group of 8 in an overnight stay at Bantayan Island.
